Kid'Zone is a high energy place where your kids will experience "who God is" through praise and
worship, drama, puppets, object lessons and the interactive teaching of God's Word!
The purpose of this ministry is to partner with parents as we prepare our next generation to serve the Lord with all of their hearts. It is a program of teaching, training and discipleship at age-appropriate levels.
Kid’Zone meets the needs of all age groups.
First Steps Nursery
Infants
Our goal is not only to minister to our babies, but to the parents as well. We take every precaution to make sure your child is safe in our nursery.
We use a vibrating pager system which allows us to notify you immediately, should your child need you. A secure check-in/check-out procedure is used every week and our nursery is child-proof and full of age-appropriate toys.
Nursery Care Available:
Sunday Morning Worship 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday Evening Service 7:00 p.m.
About Our Staff
All our nursery teachers and caregivers are regular attendees of South Suburban Christian Center and commit their time to sharing the love of Jesus with your child. “We’re not just babysitting… We’re forming minds spiritually for the next generation.”
Tiny Towne
Ages 2-5 years
Our goal in Tiny Towne is to teach children about Jesus in a way they will understand. Age appropriate activities including praise and worship, Bible stories, crafts, games, and puppets help them build a firm foundation in their faith!
Jam City
Kindergarten – 6th grade

Prize Corner…
Each quarter, our kids have a chance to win prizes by earning tickets.
Here’s what they have to do:
Rainbows
Girls and Boys ages 2 to 5 years
Rainbows earn one badge a month by completing activity pages each week and memorizing scriptures.
Prims
Girls only kindergarten – 2nd grade
Prims earn a badge each quarter by completing activities and memorizing scriptures. Our goal is to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character.
Ranger Kids
Boys only kindergarten – 2nd grade
Ranger Kids earn a badge each quarter by completing requirements set forth by their commanders. Our goal is to reach this generation of boys, to teach them the truths of God’s Word and keep them for Jesus Christ.
Discovery Rangers
Boys only 3rd – 6th grade
Discovery Rangers can earn up to four badges each quarter by completing Bible Merits. Each lesson is designed to teach and train our boys to make good decisions in every day life.
Friends
Girls only 3rd – 6th grade
Friends Club was developed to specifically meet the spiritual and social needs of 3rd-6th grade girls. These young girls are encountering choices and challenges that are new to them. Friends Club helps teach them accountability to God, to their families and to their friends, and helps make God’s truths and values the focus of their lives.
