I’m New Here

I’m New Here

When you come to South Suburban Christian Center you’ll find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, life-changing, and enjoyable. There are services for the whole family that include dynamic worship, a time of biblical teaching, and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ.

How do I get there?

What should I wear?
SSCC is a casual church, but you will find people wearing anything from everyday casual to “Sunday best.”
Wear what makes you comfortable – you’ll fit right in.

Where should I go when I arrive?
The Welcome Center is located through the front doors on the left. They can point you in the right direction and help register your child(ren) for the appropriate class.

New Believers
Have you recently given your life to Christ? Do you have questions? Find answers HERE.

Children and Youth Ministry
We offer a wide variety of activities and events for all ages. Child care is provided during each of our worship services.

Baptism
Baptism is an important decision for each believer that occurs after salvation. It is an outward expression that declares one’s intention and commitment to follow Jesus. We practice full immersion in water (as opposed to sprinkling or pouring) in keeping with the original meaning of the word “Baptism” in Scripture. We offer opportunities for water baptism throughout the year.

Communion
Communion is an event that reminds us of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Anyone who professes faith in Jesus Christ may partake of communion when it is served.

Membership
If you are interested in becoming a member, we offer a membership class twice a year. The class covers our church history and doctrine and is required to apply for membership.
