Text: Matthew 4:1-11
Temptation is an invitation to sin with the promise that something good will come out of it. We are drawn away from obedience to God by our own selfish desires. But, God made a way for us to escape those desires. . .His Word! God will use our temptations as “testing periods” in our lives. Those “testing periods” are to prove us and our walk with Christ. They are to help us mature in our dependability of Jesus. He uses our “wilderness” experiences to grow in Him. God is proving us and testing us until we can come out victorious. Trust God’s Word! Obey God’s Word! Live God’s Word! And, you will be victorious!
