Have any of you felt like you were drifting away? Your mind starts wondering? God wants us to pay attention and not drift away. He wants us to not be hearers only, but doers of His Word. The things of this world can slowly make us drift away from God. When we let our spiritual lives unattended, we begin to drift. The Word of God, prayer, and church attendance beome irrelevant in our lives. It’s gradual, but it happens. There is a danger, a consequence, in that.

Do you have a heart that seeks God? Do you have a desire for more of Jesus? God wants us to be responsible for our salvation. Neglecting the things of God is what causes us to drift. What do we do? Pay attention! Don’t get distracted with the things of the world! Don’t take your salvation for granted!
