Text: James 3:1-12
When we say we have faith, it should be shown in the way we live and communicate. That same faith applies to the way we love each other. We’ve all said something, at one time or another, that we wished we hadn’t said. We cannot take those words back. We will all stand before the Lord and be held accountable for the words we’ve spoken. We will all be judged by our words! Our words reveal the state of our heart. If we can’t control the tongue, nothing else will be controlled. Without control, the tongue can destroy us. It brings about destruction. All the wickedness comes from the devil. No one can tame the tongue, but the Holy Spirit. The tongue can produce life or death. We need to watch our mouths!
