Text: Matthew 7:15-20
We need discernment. . .the ability to know right from wrong. . .a lie from the Truth. . .the ability to think biblically! One of the biggest tools satan uses is deception. So many people are on the wide road and don’t even know it. They belive they’re on their way to heaven. Be aware of false prophets! They may look the part and sound good, but they are deceiving! Have discernment! Satan is playing for keeps! God says we will know false prophets by their fruit. How do they live their lives? What message are they preaching? The fruit that we bear demonstrates who we are. There is a price to pay when we’re traveling the wide road. God will cast us out of heaven! Let’s crucify our flesh so the fruit can come out. . .love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control! Let’s be alert, aware, and sober so we won’t be deceived! We will be known by our fruit!
