Don’t Pitch Your Tent Near Sodom

Don’t Pitch Your Tent Near Sodom

Text: Luke 17:29-32; Genesis 13:11-12

This is not hour home. We are passing through. There is a time for us to be here and a time for us to leave. We must follow Christ with no hesitation, no reservation, and have our mind made up to serve Him. We can’t get so close to the darkness without knowing that we will become a part of it, eventually. The devil wants to strip us of our identity as a child of God. He’ll take us to places we never thought we’d go, make us stay longer than we ever thought we’d stay, and pay more than we ever thought we’d pay. When we call ourselves a child of God, but continue to live in sin, we’re blind. It’s self-deception. This world is going down! We need to save ourselves and others. Let’s no longer linger when God is calling us. When we decide to be free, we can’t go back. We’re running for our lives! Don’t pitch your tent near Sodom!
