Text: Hebrews 3:16-4:2
We don’t know what it’s like to have to give up things to stay in the faith. And, without faith, it is impossible to please God. Our walk is not based on what we see, but on the unseen. The Christian believes in a God we have never seen. We walk by faith and not by sight. Everything is how we perceive it to be. In our trials, we have to believe we’ll be victorious, and we will be! We need to stand on God’s Word! Once we start thinking negatively, we lose the fight. We need to be surrounded by other believers. . .people who will encourage us and build up our faith. When we get fearful, we turn to rebellion. We need to remember not only who we are but whose we are. God will sustain us. Don’t let your circumstances keep you from what God has called you to do! If God brought you out before, why would He stop now? God makes a promise and we believe that promise! That’s faith!
