Text: Luke 24:1-10
In the midst of all the hosannas, during His triumphal entry, Jesus wept. Why? Because He knew what was coming. Jesus knew He would not be accepted for Who He was. When Jesus was tortured, no one opened their mouth to save Him, an innocent Man. Jesus died, but He rose again! Yet, some didn’t understand where He was when they found an empty tomb. Even today, people don’t believe Jesus rose from the dead and He lives! But, it’s true! And, we have risen with Him! The resurrection Power that raised Jesus from the dead, now lives in us! A lot of us have lost hope in this world. Even though we’ve heard the Truth, we choose to ignore it. Instead, we look for life in dead places. . .wrong relationships, alcohol, drugs, pornography, and even religion. Add dead places!
Our sinful lives bring death. We need to look for life in Jesus’ resurrected life! If you haven’t received Jesus as your Savior, today is the day! The King lives!!!!
