Text: 1 Samuel 15
Many people are after God’s hand. We should be after God’s heart. We have to be a church that knows God’s heart! When God tells us to do something, we need to obey. No compromising! Disobedience brought sin into the world. Disobedience is the one thing that will cancel God’s assignment on our life. If God says to do something. . .DO IT! God is the God of second chances. He can turn your ship around! The blessings of God come from obedience. Everything about the Lord is about the heart. What’s the condition of your heart? We should never try to justify our disobedience. God has more delight in obedience than gifts. He doesn’t want our gifts. He wants our hearts. Disobedience is as rebellion and rebellion is as witchcraft. When we cry out to God and confess our sin, God will be merciful. Fear the Lord, not people. Trying to please people will abort what God has planned for us. God wants full and total obedience from us. Obedience is better than sacrifice!
