Text: John 14: 25-27
We are in some fearful times right now, but be encouraged. Jesus is with us! He has not left us! Our hope is in Him! Everybody wants peace, harmony, and security. God’s peace does not refer to these things. It’s about relationship and a promise kept within that relationship. A relationship with someone you trust and who puts you at ease. . .with someone you know who will keep His promises. God’s peace is a covenant with us. He’s giving us an inheritance. . .His Peace! He will always be with us. It’s a guarantee! As believers, we are faced with the same thing as everyone else. The difference is we trust in Jesus. We will still have our problems, but the Lord will bring us through. He may not take our troubles away, but we will have peace enduring, because He is with us. We can rest securely in Him. He has given us the Comforter. . .the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to fear at all. Jesus has given us the gift of peace. Christ is the Answer! Trust in Him!
