Ecclesiastes 12:8-14
What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? What’s our purpose? Even in death, there is something ahead. Do we believe that? Scripture tells us that all the things that don’t bring glory to God are meaningless. There is nothing but meaningless things attached to this world. Everything is vanity. . .full of the flesh. The Word of God is the direction on how to get to Glory. The Truth is the only thing that will tear down all the lies. Our duty is to be a testimony and to stand out. . .to share God’s Word! The Word of God is what gets us on the right path and keeps us there. It is unmovable! Scripture tell us to fear God and keep His commandments. In order to do that, we need to know God and His Word! The fear of God is to know our place. It’s not about us! It’s about God’s purpose for us! The fear of God will keep us on the right path. We will be held accountable! We will stand before God one day! If we go after God with all we have, we aren’t missing out on anything! When we’re focused on life, everything in our lives will fall into place. Our duty is to live for God!
