Text: Galatians 5:16-21
The church is to walk in the Spirit. The Spirit is our Teacher, Helper, and Counselor. He also convicts the world of sin and reveals true righteousness. . .the righteousness of Jesus Christ. The Spirit of the Lord dwells in the believer with Power, Wisdom, and Guidance. He will guide us in all Truth! He submits to the desires and the will of the Father. To walk in the Spirit is to live a godly life. The Spirit will make us into the image of Christ to bring glory to God and further the Kingdom. Like never before, we must walk in the Spirit. We need His direction and guidance. When we walk in the Spirit, we walk in freedom and liberty. The Holy Spirit will fill those empty places of our hearts. Yes! He will fill us! Walking in the Spirit will help us escape the desires of the flesh. The desires of the Spirit bring life, but the desires of the flesh bring death. There’s a war going on between Spirit and flesh. Let’s keep fighting and submitting to the Holy Spirit. We must rely on God!
