Text: 1 Kings 17:1-9
We have a worship of immorality going on right now. But, we have to take a stand for God. . .take a stand for what is right and what is Truth! We do not have to be fearful! Stand up and rise up for Truth! Tomorrow isn’t promised to us, so we need to have ears to hear the Lord speaking to us. He will keep us and provide for us. We need to always listen for God’s direction and respond by saying, “Your will be done!” God will lead us! Sometimes, though, it can seem like we’re in the wilderness. . .our brook has dried up. It could be our health, the health of our loved ones, finances, or friends and relationships. The brook of life has dried up! What do we do? We are to learn from this. What is God showing us through this? 1. Not my will but God’s will be done! 2. Trust God and not His gifts! 3. To drain us of ourselves! 4. To prepare us! We have been blessed with today! Today is a brand new day! The brook may be dry, but the rain is coming! Look up and live!
