Text: Psalm 34:8 & 9
Sometimes things happen in our lives that we have no control over and we don’t have the answer. Those are the times when we need an encounter with God. We need to surrender all to God! Sometimes those situations can put us in bondage. Certain situations can hurt us and confuse us. That’s when we need an encounter with God. He may ask us to go beyond our comfort zone, but we must surrender and obey. Sometimes it takes more than the basics to receive our deliverance. We may think we don’t have enough to do what He asks, but with God, there is always enough! No more excuses! If we don’t surrender all and trust Him, we will never encounter God. When we start believing our circumstances, that’s when our focus is off of God. When we don’t know what to do, the answer is in the Word of God. God’s Word is Truth! When we decide there is no hope, that’s when we close the door on God. But, God wants us to put Him first in our lives. Let’s do things God’s way and then we’ll experience an encounter with God!
