Text: Ezekiel 8:1-18; 9:1-11
Our God is a jealous God. He is jealous over us. His church is a sanctified church. We cannot bring “worldly” things into the house of God and think it’s ok. It’s not! That’s called idolatry. Idolatry is when we put ANYTHING above God. . .it can be money, our children, our job. . .ANYTHING that is put above God. The house of God is a holy place and that’s where God’s judgement will start. His Word says, to much is given, much is required. Do you believe Jesus is coming? If you do, you would be preparing yourself. God is jealous for you. He is coming for a spotless Bride. We need to repent and put God first! God says, if we love Him, we will keep His commandments. Let’s get rid of our idols. Judgement is coming! Our God is a jealous God! Our God is a consuming fire!
