Text: 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
As we go through life, we come to the realization that things will not always go our way. But, the Word of God gives us instructions on how to deal with the twists and turns and ups and downs of life. Our struggles in life make us realize that we have a real enemy. . .satan! The “thorn in our side” comes in many forms. . .sickness, finances, a wayward child, a broken marriage, etc. God may not cause these issues, but He allows them. They are “wake up” calls. It’s time to get back to God! It’s time to start seeking God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. The “thorns” keep us seeking His face. God is waking us up out of our slumber. The Lord knows how to get our attention and it’s all to make us stronger. God’s grace is sufficient. God will give us enough grace to get us through each trial. For every situation, God gives us more than enough to go through. When we’re at that point where there’s nothing more we can do, that’s when God steps in. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
Jesus is all we need!
