Text: John 14:16-18
The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit IS God! He moves in us every day of our lives. He lives in us! He is our Comforter and Helper. He is our Encourager and Advocate. He is the Power to make a difference in our lives. The Holy Spirit makes the unlearned wise. We can have all we want and do all we want to do, but if we don’t have the Holy Spirit, we have nothing. The Holy Spirit is the TRUTH that lives in us. He will not go against God’s Word. He is there to help us resist all untruth. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, the Holy Spirit dwells in us. He gives us a heart to do the things of God. The Holy Spirit is only for believers! He cannot be understood by the world because He doesn’t dwell in them.
Do not have a troubled heart. The Holy Spirit is a part of our every day lives. He is practical. He is personal. He knows everything we’re going through and He’s working through us. Call on Him! He is dependable!
