Text: Romans 6:4-11
We have a triumphant Savior! Jesus Christ defeated death! The Gospel is REAL and is the TRUTH and our lives depend on it! The Resurrection brings to us a New Life. Because of the Resurrection, we can say good-bye to our old life. We have to die to our sinful life. We have the Power over sin. We cannot hold onto the things of the world and the things of Christ. They cannot co-exist! We can have a powerful life that conquers sin. Jesus died on the cross for us! We must be dead to sin to live the victorious life. The same Power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us! We can walk in the newness of life. Every day is a renewed day for us because of the Resurrection. . .a day lived by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Jesus died on the cross to give us new life and He rose again to give us even more. . .a Daily renewed life! Death has no dominion over us. We will rise again with Christ! As we go through tough times, we can maintain. . .Because He Lives!
